About 30 km from Siena, over the rolling hills and through the thick woods, we come to the heart of Tuscany in the Val di Merse. Destination? the most reconizable abbey without roof in the world, obviously. I will tell you stories of Knights, of hermits, monks and specifically the one of Galgano who came here in total solitude to change his own life.
We venture on a unique path to the place where for centuries the most famous “sword in the stone” is still conserved. An intriguing relationship exists between Galgano, the Breton cycle and King Arthur? Come to discover all this in these places still shrouded in mystery.
